Our Mission

The purpose of the Young Democrats of Orange County is to stimulate the youth of our County and active interest in governmental affairs; to increase the efficiency of popular government; to foster and perpetuate the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party; to recruit and train community leaders; to encourage statesmanship; to aid the Democratic Party; to provide through its administration the highest degree of justice and social welfare; and to serve as a voice for young people within the Democratic Party.

Our Focus:

• Reaching out to young voters to engage them politically at every level
• Recruiting the next generation of elected officials
• Getting out into the field knocking on doors, text banking, phone banking and engaging voters year round
• Telling effective storytelling through social media and tabling at events to show solidarity with coalition partners
• Develop leadership opportunities to help build the resume’s of young aspiring political pioneers
• Raise the funding needed to engage our peer to peer programs and recruit new members
